The UPA government is wholly responsible for the sudden spurt in terrorist activity in India. Terrorists became emboldened when the new Congress government in Andhra lifted the ban on PWG and entered into unconditional talks even before these terrorists laid down their arms. Then the Manmohan Singh Union government sacked the Manipur Governor Mr. Arvind Dave because he had the audacity to report to the Centre that the Congress CM of Manipur had links with narcotics smuggling. Then, the Karnataka Congress--led coalition government withdrew the STF forces hunting for the Veerappan gang. Moreover, the Congress alliance with those who praise the killers of Rajiv Gandhi has encouraged militant and narcotics smuggling activities in Tamil Nadu. Hence it is the Congress government which is responsible for the spurt in terrorist activities in the country.
Thus, the nation's integrity is no more safe if the UPA is in power. It is time for all patriotic forces to consolidate into a new front to replace the UPA in power.

Statement of Dr.Subramanian Swamy, President of Janata Party, made a press meet in Chennai on 03.10.2004

1. In October 8th, I shall appear before the Rae Bareli Returning officer [also the district magistrate [see enclosed summons notice] to argue in person why Ms. Sonia Gandhi must be prosecuted under the Indian Penal Code and Representation of People's Act for filing an affidavit during the Lok Sabha elections falsely claiming that she had a degree from the University of Cambridge, U.K. when she was never a student in that university or ever studied in a college anywhere. It was to cheat the people of India that she told this lie on oath. Hence she has to be prosecuted under Section 193 & 420 of the IPC and 171A of the Representation of Peoples Act, and disqualified from being a member of Lok Sabha.

2. In November, I shall also file a complaint under the Prevention of Corruption Act against Ms.Sonia Gandhi for possession of assets disproportionate to her known sources of income [Section 13(e)]. Later I will file a PIL on LTTE’s Prabhakaran’s extradition in the Supreme Court, making Ms.Sonia Gandhi as a respondent.

3. As a follow up of the joint press conference of George Fernandes and myself in Madurai on September 26th, an action committee consisting of Fernandes, Uma Bharti, Sanjay Nirupam [Shiv Sena MP], P.A.Sangma and myself, will be formally constituted on JP's birthday, October 11th at 5PM at George Fernandes' residence in New Delhi. The action committee will hold public meetings all over India and publish booklets to expose Ms. Sonia Gandhi as a national security threat, a corrupt person, and a compulsive liar.

4. The first public meeting of this committee will be held in New Delhi on October 25th. Subsequently, public meetings will be held in all the state capitals in the country. An international front of this movement to expose Ms. Sonia Gandhi has also been set up with headquarters in New York in the name of Save India Forum International under the leadership of Dr.Jitendra Kumar, Professor Dinesh Agarwal, Dr.Subramania Vemuri, Sardar Jaginder Singh, and Chandrakant Patel.

5. The UPA government has failed on all fronts already. The economy in doldrums, terrorism has begun to rear its ugly head again starting in Manipur spreading to Nagaland, Assam, Andhra and Chattisgarh. In Tamil Nadu, the pro-LTTE forces are regrouping in Chennai and Rameshwaram, with easy access to Jaffna via Pondicherry. This is because of narco-terrorist links of many key members of the UPA.

6. The Prime Minister has given a clean chit to Pakistan without getting a clearance to India bombing the terrorists' camps in J&K across the LOC. Moreover he has devalued the post of PM by being seen as a rubber stamp of Ms.Sonia Gandhi and the Left Front. There is flip flop on policy every day.

PRESS RELEASE
The Congress Party's reaction to the Rashtriya Swabhiman Manch in calling it a formation of the Gang of Four reflects panic at the broad-based character of the Manch. Moreover, the Congress that is now being led by semi-literates with fake academic degrees, does not know Chinese history and that this description of the Gang of Four fits the Congress Party aptly. In China, where the term originated, Jiang Jing, the wife of Mao Tse tung with three others usurped power and sent reformers like Deng Xiao ping out of office. Deng regrouped and overthrew the Gang of Four, and sent them to prison. That is what is going to happen to Ms. Sonia Gandhi, Ambika Soni, Arjun Singh and Margret Alva, the desi version of the Gang of Four. Jiang Jing, incidentally has also been accused in China of driving Mao to his death.

The RSM has been formed also to liberate the Congress Party from the clutches this sinister Gang of Four, all imposters, usurpers, and devious. The nation is in danger of losing its honour and national self-respect if this Gang remains in power. True Congresspersons should revolt against them and help RSM overthrow them.

The end brought to Bandit Veerappan and his murderous activities is a big blow for terrorists and their agents in India. It is now known that Veerappan was fronting for the LTTE, and Indian extremists such as TNA. He survived this long because of his financing politicians and by blackmail of others. According to an affidavit filed by a senior Karnataka government police official, the Congress Party led by Ms. Sonia Gandhi paid Rs.20 crores to Veerappan ostensibly as ransom to secure cine actor Raj Kumar's release. This money helped finance LTTE and Tamil extremist activities.

Most of the credit for putting an end to the Veerappan menace belongs to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ms. Jayalalithaa. She was determined and unwavering in the hunt despite the political set backs she has had. The Tamil Nadu CM thus got action from the otherwise largely seedy and corrupt police in the state. She has for patriotic reasons shown herself to be above personal profit or personal safety that a compromise with Veerappan would have meant for her--- as it has been for some Congress Party leaders. In particular, Ms. Jayalalithaa stands in sharp contrast to Ms. Sonia Gandhi who despite being Rajiv Gandhi's widow has given a burial to the chase for LTTE's Prabhakaran, also a bandit, but more the man who ordered Rajiv's assassination. She has even written to the President of India to commute the death sentence handed down by the Supreme Court to four LTTE/DK conspirators in the assassination. And more shameful, she has chosen to ally in Tamil Nadu with those who praise her husband's killers.

The Tamil Nadu government should now set up a high powered Commission of Inquiry to sift through Veerappan's belongings and documents, and bring to book those who had been helping Veerappan evade the law for so long.

It is unfair for former Prime Minister Mr. V.P. Singh to berate the CBI for failing to prosecute properly the St. Kitts case. That the CBI has been used as a handmaiden of the politicians in power should not shock him, especially since when he was Prime Minister, the CBI was forced to drop further questioning of his son Ajeya in the St. Kitts accounts case at the insistence of his office. Ajeya Singh had admitted in earlier questioning by the ED/CBI that he had an illegal Swiss bank account. He was asked by the investigating agencies to produce payments into and out of this account. He never did because after a series of adjournments, his father had become PM. Thereafter, the ED/CBI was made to get off the probe, and divert it's attention.

If Mr. V. P. Singh's hands are clean on this score, he should write to the CBI that the aborted investigation into his son's Swiss bank account be resumed. He should also petition the CBI to find out who financed the forgery of papers relating to his son's account.

Forgery of bank accounts is not a new subject for Mr. Singh. He once announced [in mid 1989] the name of the Swiss bank and the secret account numbers of Rajiv Gandhi's which he alleged had received the Bofors pay-off. It was false and forged. I know how pained Rajiv Gandhi was at this allegation. Will Mr. Singh do prayaschit [atone] for this lie?
