Statement of Dr.Subramanian Swamy, President of the Janata Party on December 29, 2005.
1. The murderous attack in the campus of the hallowed Indian Institute of Science at Bangalore yesterday is a symptom of the failed and soft policies towards terrorism of the Congress Party.
2. In Karnataka, the Congress Party has been capitulating before terrorists for long. When bandit Veerappan kidnapped cine actor Raj Kumar, the Congress Government according to a Director General of Police of the State (who upon retiring wrote a book) paid Rs. 20 crores as ransom and released from prison 15 confirmed criminals of the Veerappan gang to appease the bandit.
3. Elsewhere in the country such as Andhra, Kashmir, Northeast, the Congress Governments have been negotiating with terrorists even while they have continued the killing spree.Moreover, the Congress Party has lost all moral authority to speak against terrorism after the Party President and widow of LTTE-assassinated Rajiv Gandhi negotiated an electoral alliance with those political parties in Tamil Nadu who are stooges of the LTTE. Today pre-LTTE persons are Union Ministers in the UPA Government. This besides is a betrayal of Rajiv Gandhi’s martyrdom.
4. Terrorism in India cannot be fought unless three things are understood by the people: (1) The terrorist violence is primarily against the Hindus whether in Bangalore or Agartala and hence planned as a part of the conspiracy of Pakistan’s ISI to weaken the Hindu foundation of India.We have to recognize that Hindus are under a siege; (2) All terrorists groups in India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari are co-ordinating their activities, and hence they have to be dealt with with a national anti-terrorist policies not piecemeal; (3) the Government must not negotiate with any terrorist group under any circumstance, and instead will search, seek and destroy terrorists in their sanctuaries wherever they are: whether in Pakistan, Bangla Desh, Sri Lanka or elsewhere. It is our past appeasement in Rubbaiya kidnapping (1989), IA hijacking to Kandhahar (1999) and Bangla Desh infiltration matters that has emboldened the terrorists to strike at will.
5. However, terrorism cannot be combated in India unless the UPA Government is toppled. This Government is part of the problem and not of the solution.

STATEMENT OF DR.SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY, PRESIDENT OF JANATA PARTY
MADE IN CHENNAI ON 16.12.2005
1. In the matter of bribes collected from Iraq by Congress Party, I have now verified that part of the ill-gotten money ended up in HSBC bank in New York (Yonkers branch) in the account of Century Development Group, Inc. account number 652-72521-0. This is a benami account of Ms.Sonia Gandhi operated on her behalf by Zach Thomas, the New York based brother-in-law of Ms.Sonia Gandhi’s Man Friday Vincent George.
2. Another lead that connects Ms.Sonia Gandhi to illegal payment in the Iraqi oil allotments of the Saddam Hussein regime, is the Letter of Credit issued by Vitol Ltd. In the name of President, Congress Party, 24 Akbar Road, New Delhi. That such a Letter of Credit was issued can be inferred by Table 3 & 4 in the Volcker Committee Report. According to these Tables, Contract No.M/10/57 was allotted in the name of “Congress Party” of which Ms.Sonia Gandhi is President (Annexure 2.) The Vitol company was the underlying financier and had opened a letter of credit N731924 (Annexure 5.) No.L/C can be opened without identifying the parties to the contract. According to my information, the Vitol company Mumbai office in Maker Towers V had contacted the Congress Party before issuing the L/C (Annexure 6).
3. Hence Ms.Sonia Gandhi must resign from the Cabinet rank post of Chairperson of the National Advisory Council of the UPA government. She has already sought to influence the investigation in India by the Enforcement Directorate [Kolkata based Telegraph has reported that on December 6th at 4 PM, ED officials were summoned to her residence for a briefing and for receiving directions on further inquiry].
I also demand therefore that on this information, the CBI register a FIR, with Ms.Sonia Gandhi as accused. I have already filed a complaint with the CBI in the matter. Since the offences are cognizable, the CBI can arrest anyone accused for interrogation.
4. I condemn the Tamil Nadu Police and the Chief Minister for registering a ridiculous FIR on theft against Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal. This shows moral bankruptcy and an insane trigger happy mentality. It is also a gross misuse of authority by government officials and the CM for which they are liable in a future suit.
This confirms my warning that Hinduism is in danger in Tamilnadu.
5. The recent flooding of populated areas of Chennai and other towns following heavy rains is due to the vast unplanned unauthorized illegal construction carried out during DMK and AIADMK regimes.
The Tamilnadu CM has ordered demolishing these constructions, but it has been done selectively, sparing those constructed by politicians and business favourable to the AIADMK.
6. The Iran President’s statement that the ‘Holocaust’ in which Nazis killed 6 million Jews is ‘a myth’ and that Israel should be ‘wiped out off the map’ or shifted to Alaska, betrays the mentality of Hilter, and must be condemned.
If the Iran President fails to apologize for this absurd statement, then Israel should invite the Zoroastrians settled in India and elsewhere in the world to set up an exile government of Iran, and ask the Muslims of Iran to migrate to Saudi Arabia or Iraq.

Statement of Dr. Subramanian Swamy, Janata Party President and former Union Cabinet Minister in London [UK] at the Meet the Press convened by the Indian Journalist Association on December 9, 2005.
Now that no one in Indian Parliament is questioning anymore the authenticity of the documents of the Volcker Committee Report on the UN’s Iraq Oil for Food Programme, it is time to decode the method of stashing away of the ill-gotten money siphoned off from the programme by Indian politicians. Although oil vouchers has got most the media attention, the ‘kick-backs’ in the sale of food and medicines etc., by 125 companies is the bigger scandal which must be taken up later.
But the hunt for accountability must start at the top—which in this case is the Congress Party led by Ms. Sonia Gandhi. It is now established that the then Oil Minister of Iraq had met Ms. Gandhi at her residence in the presence of Mr. Natwar Singh, and the matter of oil voucher was discussed. In January 2001, Mr. Singh met Saddam Hussein in Baghdad with a letter from Ms. Gandhi[ which is with Volcker Committee]. Vouchers for lifting 4 million barrels of oil at a concessional price was then issued in the name of the party.
This oil allotment did not go to Indians or Indian refining PSU companies, but instead was sold at market price to a Marc Rich owned foreign company: Masefield AG. The difference between the concessional price and the market price, about Rs. 300 crores, found it’s way from Swiss banks to Cayman Island to New York for investment.

After the UPA come to power at the Centre, the Finance Minister broke the law by creating a financial instrument called Participatory Note[PN] which was put out of the purview of the SEBI, and hence not required to disclose the source of funds when invested in the Mumbai and other stock exchanges. Ms. Sonia Gandhi used the Fidelity Investments company of New York to make extensive ‘penny stocks’ purchases to manipulate the stock market ‘boom’ and earn huge profits. Indians thus lost at both ends—oil and stock market stability. Ms. Gandhi has used the Century Development outfit to purchase real estates in US, and has been permitted to channel investments of NRI to Kerala. In this connection, Muthoot Company of Kerala must be investigated as well.
After the Volcker Committee Report came out, Ms. Sonia Gandhi instructed Mr. Thomas to get rid of all the records. The company was thus hastily sold to two Americans in Nevada in mid-October.
Ms.Sonia Gandhi is also implicated in the Letters of Credit opened by Vitol Financiers, which company has an office in Mumbai too.

Statement of Janata Party President & fmr.Union Law Minister Dr.Subramanian Swamy, made in London on December 2, 2005
The disclosures by India's Ambassador to Croatia and former Head of Foreign Affairs Cell of Sonia Gandhi-led Congress Party, Mr.Aniel Mathrani made to the India Today magazine in a taped interview, that Mr.Natwar Singh knew of the voucher coupons issued by the Saddam Hussein regime in Iraq, and had obtained them for his son, must be acted upon by the CBI by registering a FIR for investigation and prosecution.
The President of India and the Prime Minister must also protect Mr.Mathrani from physical and mental harm for these disclosures. He should be treated as a whistle blower, to protect such persons only two days ago both the President and the PM had publicly declared that they are committed to do. The CBI should also investigate the Letter of Credit issued by M/s Vitol Financiers to enable Masefield holding company to lift the oil. Vitol has an office in Mumbai.
The CBI must also interrogate Ms.Sonia Gandhi since the Volcker Committee has named the Congress Party of receiving these vouchers too and had oil lifted by the same route.
Since US-pardoned tax evader Marc Rich[owner of Masefield] has the patronage of Israel, hence the GOI must use diplomatic channels to persuade the Israeli government to make him cooperate in the investigation. Mr.Hemant Thanavala, an Indian was in the know too as the CFO of Masefield. He should be tracked down too and questioned.
