Statement of Dr.Subramanian Swamy, President of Janata Party made in Chennai
The UPA government on the issue of terrorism has been only seeking to score points against the previous NDA government instead of scoring off the wanted terrorists from the country. The Congress Party must hang it’s head in shame for sharing power today with those parties which praise or help the LTTE. The LTTE was the terrorist organization which assassinated Rajiv Gandhi. Why has the UPA still not carried out the death sentence to four LTTE/DK which the Supreme Court had passed seven years ago?
Instead dwelling on the past, the UPA should formulate an effective counter terrorist strategy [such as the enclosed proposal of mine] to put an end to the epidemic proportions reached of terrorism in the country ever since the UPA came to power.
The DMK state government has displayed a shocking evasion and dereliction of duty in not implementing the Supreme Court order on my Petition on the Mulla Periyar water level issue. The government instead of sending officials to the dam site to close the shutters to raise the water level to 142 feet has for corrupt motives engaged in irrelevant and uncalled for parleys with the Kerala government.
India should demand of the Sri Lanka the passing of a resolution in their Parliament to adopt a federal constitution in place of the present unitary one as a price for military assistance to the island government for fighting the LTTE. India should sent troops to the island only if the government there agrees to create a cantonment in Colombo for stationing two divisions of the Indian army and a squadron of the Indian airforce. Last time when the IPKF was in northern Sri lanka, the Colombo government betrayed us by secretly helping the LTTE to fight the IPKF. A cantonment for Indian forces in Colombo will prevent that.
The Janata Party will fight the local bodies elections in TN in alliance with the BJP.

Statement of Dr. Subramanian Swamy, Janata Party President made in Madurai
1. Based on my inquries, I am now in a position to state that the recently published CNN-IBN_Hindu opinion poll is without any objective basis, and hence these appear to be contrived to suit certain political interests. The poll is not based on a scientific random sampling basis and the questions framed for respondents are rigged to elicit a certain pre-determined answer. Hence, a fraud has been committed on the people by conducting and publishing this poll. In the recent Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, the same pollsters were caught by the Janata Party workers in the Mylapore constituency seeking to rig the so-called exit polls. Thanks to the intervention by N.Ram of The Hindu, the Mylapore exit polls were scrapped [see enclosed].
2. What is disturbing is that such fraudulent polls can be used to substantiate rigged results obtained by hacked electronic voting machines. In elections since 2001, electronic machines have been open to hacking by paid US-based cyber crooks who were hired by certain political parties. Without a paper trail, as US courts have been informed, the present electronic voting machines are easily open to undetected hacking.
3. In this connection I met N.Ram yesterday to protest the implied devaluation of The Hindu by publishing such bogus polls. I urged him to disassociate the prestigious newspaper from participating or publishing such bogus polls in the future.
4. I am considering further course of action to ensure that the purity of elections are not vitiated by pollster buccaneers in the future.
5. The Janata Party will contest the imminent local bodies elections in alliance with the BJP and other like minded parties.
6. The discovery of Pluto has been wrongly credited to a foreigner in India’s media reports. In reality, Pluto discovery was first published in article in May 1911 by Dr.Venkatesh Ketakar in the French journal Bulletin of Astronomical Society. Dr.Ketakar had called it ‘brahma grha’. US scientists Roger Freedman and William Kauffman III in their book: The Universe, published in 1968 has acknowledged this. The downgrading of Pluto now affirms what Aryabhatta had written in the Sixth century that there are only seven important planets and two nodal points Rahu and Ketu. It is time we took pride in our own discoveries.
7. The Tamil Nadu government is wasting time on the Mulla Periyar water height level. They should calibrate the shutters to raise the water level to 142 feet without delay since I have won the case in the Supreme Court on the issue. But corrupt motivates of certain politicians is unnecessarily delaying the raising of the water level.
8. Recently, I was invited to the United Nations Headquarters [I had briefly served there in 1963 as an Economics Affairs Officer]. I learnt from highly placed officials there that the illegal vouchers issued in the name of “Congress Party” by the Saddam Hussein government in the Oil for Food programme were actually in the name of Ms. Sonia Gandhi. Ms. Gandhi had got it cashed for $ 30 million [about Rs.150 crores] through the famous criminal Marc Rich based in Switzerland. Rich was pardoned by President Clinton in 2000 from facing jail terms of a total of 300 years in US. Photocopies of the vouchers were given to the Indian government but the Pathak Authority was either not given it or chose to ignore the same.

STATEMENT OF DR.SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY, PRESIDENT OF JANATA PARTY MADE IN CHENNAI
1. The Janata Party will fight the coming local bodies elections in Tamilnadu jointly with the BJP, and provide a nationalist alternative in the state to the British imperialist-created pro-LTTE terrorist Dravidian movement parties.
2.Now that international research on DNA structure of Indians has proved that there is no such thing as ‘Aryans’ or Dravidian’ races in India, this alternative front will expose the Dravidian movement parties a ideologically bankrupt, and foreign controlled.
3. In UP (and Uttaranchal) Assembly elections early next year, the Janata Party will seek to forge with like-minded parties patriotic ‘Hindustan Front’ to contest all Assembly seats on a Five Point Programme tentatively based on the following:
· Effective Response to Terrorism
· Primary and Secondary Education of international standards based on IT, as ` alternative to Quotas Reservations for Backward Classes.
· Building a Ram Temple in Ayodhya within one year, and promoting Hindu renaissance.
· Massive investment in Agriculture and exports of agro-industries products.
· World Class Infrastructure and Public Utilities.
4. This Front will target the UPA as soft of terrorism and as agents of a foreign conspiracy to divide India on basis of caste, language and bogus history books. Ms.Sonia Gandhi’s dubious past will be exposed to warn the people against her being a ‘Trojan Horse’ in Indian politics. Her alliance with pro-LTTE parties will be highlighted to show how and why she has betrayed the memory of her assassinated husband, Rajiv Gandhi.
5. The Front will take shape after Deepavali 2006. It will welcome to the Front those Muslims and Christians who proudly acknowledge that their ancestors are Hindus.

I welcome the decision of the Union Government to offer the Sarakaria Commission report on devolution to the Sri Lanka government for possible adoption. The Sri Lanka government must know that mainstream public opinion in India will never agree to materially and substantially support Sri Lanka's struggle against terrorism of the LTTE until the Sinhala majority agrees upfront to implement a federal type Constitution by passing a resolution of their Parliament. This is because in the past the Sinhala leadership had made a dirty secret deal with the LTTE to harm the IPKF when in fact India had sent troops to northern Sri Lanka in compliance with the commitment in the Indo-Sri Lanka Accord of 1987.
Moreover, after the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi we Indians will never agree to sit with the LTTE in any format. as the Indian government has made abundantly clear. The LTTE leader V.Prabhakaran and his associate Pottu Amman have to be handed over to India for facing trial in the Rajiv Gandhi murder case. Sinhala may suffer from Stockholm Syndrome and be in a perpetual surrender mode despite LTTE killing their President and Ministers from time to time, but we Indians have a long memory, and shall wait, for change of government if necessary, to bring justice and retribution to terrorist Prabhakaran.

Statement of Dr. Subramanian Swamy on the Justice Pathak Report
The Justice Pathak Report under submission to the PM has, according to the deliberate leaks from officialdom, indicted Mr. Natwar Singh and exonerated the Congress Party of any prima facie guilt. India has seen such staged dramas of whitewashing and finding scapegoats many times before, e.g., the Commissions of Inquiry on Bofors.
I had closely worked with Natwar Singh in 1998-99 and can say that he is incapable of taking any decision on any matters without the prior and clear direction from Ms. Sonia Gandhi. Hence, it is wholly farcical for the Pathak Inquiry body to find him solely responsible for the stinking and shameful Oil-for Food scandal that happened in collusion with the world's most greedy dictator Saddam Hussein. The UN's official Volcker Committee had indeed in print reported that Congress Party as a separate entity had been a non contractual [favoured non-business] recipient of voucher no. M/10/57 that entitled the Congress to zero--cost ownership of a million plus barrels of Iraqi oil. This entitlement was sold to the well known pardoned criminal and Israeli agent Marc Rich owned Masefield AG oil trading company which in turn sold it in the international market to an Italian company for a profit of $ 30 million less the payment to the Congress. Where has all that booty gone? I have already supplied the ED with New York, Swiss and Cayman Island accounts held illegally by Ms. Sonia Gandhi, her son and Satish Sharma which may show the deposits. The PNs sold in the Mumbai stock market by Fidelity Investments of USA may give more leads. I had also filed a private complaint with the CBI, which acknowledged the receipt of the same by a letter dated December 1, 2005, but has yet to register a FIR.
Now that the Government has decided to amend the Cr.PC to allow plea bargain, I suggest to Mr.Natwar Singh to stop being a 'halal chicken' and make a clean breast of it all under this provision. He should explicitly put the blame where it must justifiably rest: on Sonia alias Antonia Maino Gandhi of Italy.
The Defence Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee deserves congratulations for the efficient evacuation of not only Indians stranded in Lebanon, but also Sri Lankan Sinhala residents and Nepalese of Beirut and other places. The operation was conducted by the Indian navy which re-assigned three of the warships on exercises in the Mediteranean Sea, and with Israeli co-operation on a bombing lull, evacuated all without a single mishap or casualty. The operation was done more efficiently than the US evacuation of it's citizens. Mr. Mukherjee deserves kudos for this from Parliament.
